This image by Martin Parr is interesting because of the fact that it is an indoor resort/beach. I find this image interesting because of the symmetry that lies within it and the way that he has taken the shot at an high angle that almost gives an aerial view to show the amount of people and beauty of what can be created to look genuine.
I find this picture from Martin Parr’s Car Park series extremely relevant to my project as I too am focusing on a car park for this assignment. One of the first things that I see when I first look at this photo is the surrounding buildings acting as the walls of a covered car park. I also like the way that Parr has chosen to have the bright green Volkswagen as nearly the main subject and the light green car off to the left just barely being seen.
