This photo by Bob Thall reaches out to me because of the way that he has chosen top capture both the cluster of tall buildings on the left and the single tall building in the top right hand corner. To me this gives a sense that it is a large city but the focus point is where the two people are and the empty space that surrounds the line up of cars.
If someone where to ask me what I thought of this picture, I would tell them that I think it is amazing. I can’t pin point actually grabs me the most about this picture but the arrangement of the almost checkered windows of the tall buildings in the background and the vertical reinforcing concrete poles become nearly the main subject rather than the spiral in the middle because of the repetition of them through the picture once you really look at the image.
